October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The most common cancer in women, we all have been touched, directly or secondhand, by breast cancer. As a female-owned and operated brand, we are answering the call to raise awareness, educate, and fundraise for breast cancer research. Marie Oliver will donate 10% of net proceeds from all online sales during the month of October to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You can also join our fundraising team to donate directly.
The BCRF is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. They provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis, and survivorship, and are the highest-rated cancer research foundation in the United States.
Later this month, as part of our Women On the Move series, we’ll be joined on Instagram and Facebook by three courageous women who have graciously agreed to share their experience with this disease, and the important impact of cancer research funding. Their stories inspire us with their strength, transparency, and continued advocacy for women’s health.
